I have shot both and saw no difference in accuracy. CVA advertises the Accura as their premium rifle to justify the higher price. They say it has a Bergara barrel, but I think the Optima has one also, just not advertised to get customers to pay out more $$$. The Nitrofire is less expensive than the accura MR-X but a little more than the optima. Just seems like a simple easy to use system and maybe more consistent since the fire sticks are all done at the factory and should all be exactly the same weights of powder in each one. To me the difference in barrel length is a non-issue. For a few years, and many deers, i have been carrying a 23" barrel. It works good. However, in my opinion, the opening/closing latch on the Optima V2 is a way more better than the latch on the Wolf. My choice would be the Optima V2, because of the latch mechanism.
