Savage 64 precision 20 round magazine
Savage model 64 jams. Just bought a Savage model 64 with a wood stock. Bought it at Dicks sporting goods, came with a simmons 4x scope. Anycase, all it does is jam. I tired several diffent bullets such as federal, Remmington, Aguila, Wolf Gold match, Etc. It jams so bad, that it actually bends the bullet out of the case!The factory mag needs a little honing before you shoot it (there are lots of tutorials on this), once done you should be fine. The one issue seems to be that the mag ears or lips can wear quickly, that is why I have a total of 4 mags for my 64 and may get a couple more. Once you start having problems call Savage, I heard that they will replace it.
