The H2 has much more torque than the panigale but a much heavier bike. Peak HP is similar, abit at different redlines. Both bikes are somewhat service intensive but let's assume that you were capable of servicing the Ducati's desmo valves yourself, significantly lowering the cost.

Personally, I like the raw, visceral feeling of the twins better.
