Hi All, I am a newbie to this forum , and have had mt 2000 gtp for 2 years now. This fall I noticed coolant pooling over top of my front bank of injectors (coolant only no oil in the mix) . 1) disconnect the ECT. 2) connect resistances 1400, 93, and 55 ohms in turn and observe guage. 3) guage should read min, mid, and max temperature. This tested out just fine. 1400 ohms is for 40°C, and the min in the guage is 40°C. 93 ohms is for 120°C, and the exact mid positon is 120°C. Likewise for the max.2) Find yourself a 50 ohm, 180 ohm, and a 1450 ohm resistor. Connect these resistors one at a time between terminals A and B and look at the dash guage. The 50 ohm should give you the max, 180 ohm should give you 100°C, and 1450 ohms should give you 40°C. -Larry.LIM Change Done, Running Hot. I'm with you that you usually don't associate the LIM gaskets with vacuum leaks. You do associate the bad LIM's with coolant leaks though.

The LIM Gasket should most certainly not leak, I took my time, torqued it in 3 stages (4 actually because I hand tightened them all first). ...
