About Us. Wilderness Ridge Trail Llamas was founded in 2010 in Eastern Idaho, we are a family owned and operated business. We were first introduced to llamas in 2006 while in Argentina serving a 2-year LDS mission. Prior to becoming known as the “llama people” backpacking and the use of horses and mules is how we explored the back country. Fire Rock Llamas is owned and operated by Troy and Heidi Hill. Our farm sits on 20 acres outside of Union, Oregon. Union is located in the northeast corner of the state at the base of the Eagle Cap Wilderness.
