Mar 1, 2017 · For instance the other day Sonarr downloaded an x265 HDTV-1080p rip which was amazing quality and only 400MB. 2 days later it found a x264 WEBDL-720p rip which was 1.1GB and it upgraded the file, turned out it was worse quality - so I got a lower quality rip and almost triple of my disk space consumed. Currently my sonarr downloads many shows twice. The first time at x264 and then later at x265. I do want it to continue to upgrade 720p or 1080p content to 2160p. But I don't want it to replace an x264 1080p download with an x265 download. I do have a 480m delay to hopefully allow time to "wait" for a high quality release. Settings below.
