The blue lever is an MZS clutch lever for the previous gen MT-09 which obviously didn’t have cruise control. The platform for the clutch switch is in the exact same position as the one currently on the bike. The only reason I didn’t install this lever, is because the brake side is R1/R6 style which makes the other MZS lever I have redundant.I put MZS levers on my cb300r anyway cause it was my first bike and i new i would upgrade. To be fair, there are some included shims that I may try this weekend to see if that tightens things up a bit. The brake lever is a different yet similar story. The OEM lever is fine and may well go back on. The thing is, the MZS lever has a funky kink in it. Definitely second this. My R3 is track only, I still need to be cost conscious but I stick to OEM levers even over these (though, after 3 years I think I’ve finally gotten through most of the other higher priority suspension, brakes, minor engine mods that I can splurge on the Nortons).
